Vicky Ivy, after coming to the Lord in her early twenties, attended an off-campus location of King’s Word Bible College (Norris City, IL), this one located in Poplar Bluff, MO. There she sat under mainstream Christian teachers and pastors. Her father was a Naval officer, which afforded her exposure to many cultures, as they moved throughout her childhood. After high school, she raised her daughter in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where she worked in graphic arts. She moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2000. Vicky has a passion for writing Christian material for children, teens, and young adults. All her material has one thing in common: is to teach the next generation to understand why Christians believe what they believe, why it is important in their faith walk, and how to walk in God’s power and might.
