Bishop R.L. Washington, Sr., a proud native of Prichard, Alabama, has become a mentor to many around this country and the world. He faithfully served in the United States Coast Guard for thirteen years and then was called of God to serve in the Christian ministry. His ministry, Kingdom Konnection Ministries, was first organized in 1996 in Freeport, Texas, then transitioned to Dayton, Texas in 2007. He and his lovely wife, Lady Mary A. Washington, are the Overseers.
KKM, as it is widely known, transitioned to online ministry during the COVID 19 Pandemic and never looked back. Today, they are teaching the Word of God with simplicity and understanding around the world, and many are experiencing life-changing moments. Bishop and Lady Mary have organized various outreach ministries to impact the lives of everyday people and have also initiated the Bishop R.L. Washington School of Ministry to train men and women for Christian service.
