Linda Gourdine-Hunt

Linda Gourdine-Hunt is a "field hand," working to help gather in the harvest. She believes in the redemption of the human spirit and is committed to a life of service. To that end, she has taught Sunday School at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York for more than wetnty years and was also a member of the Drama Ministry. As a Guidance Counselor in the New York City Department of Education, she counseled and encouraged inner-city youth to reach for higher heights. She enjoys teaching, reading, traveling, acting and family gatherings. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
