Raised in a family of musicians and tutored by his father and family patriarch, Daniel Petersen I, Danny Petersen is today a professional musician in his own right and has travelled extensively nationally and internationally plying his trade. Proficient in a wide range of musical instruments, he has performed using them on various albums, DVDs and at numerous concerts. One of the albums he performed on won a GRAMMY award for Best Traditional Gospel Music.
Danny also has extensive experience as a facilitator and motivational speaker for interactive team-building, utilizing African djembe drums for groups and, for individuals, as a de-stressing methodology and self-enrichment therapy. His skills in this regard have been used successful in situations that required conflict resolution, even between nations.
As a husband and father, Danny, along with his wife Antoinette, not only had to have the wisdom to raise two gifted children, Daniel III (Danno) and Robyn, but even as he did so, had to navigate the challenges presented as his home country, South Africa, emerged from the hideous oppression of years of Apartheid. This book will give you an insight into a father’s passion and determination against all odds to make a success of his life and marriage and to raise two beautiful children and help them fulfil their own destiny.
