How will Jesus judge believers who stand before Him at the Judgment Seat of Christ?
In Matthew 5, Jesus set a New Covenant standard that exceeds the Old Covenant Law in that He called those who call someone a fool a “murderer” and those who lust in their heart an “adulterer.”
What will happen to a believer who is found to be a murderer and/or an adulterer?
Jesus told His disciples that if they did not forgive others they would not be forgiven and that He would judge them in the same way they judged others.
What will happen to a believer who harbors bitterness and unforgiveness?
Believers will not go to the Lake of Fire, since those who believe receive an inheritance of eternal life. And yet, despite this, many will suffer great loss and anguish for a time for not being ready.
What will happen to a believer who does not repent and is not ready?
Jesus has hidden in the parables how He will judge believers. This is being revealed to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. You will understand why we need to work out our salvation with fear and trembling and what the fear of the Lord is. When we understand His ways, we can stand with confidence and full assurance and be ready for His coming.
It is time for you to know why you need to repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
