Raised in a traditional Presbyterian church in Memphis, Tennessee, Tommy James’ early adult years were spent in sales and marketing. Then he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and was called, along with his wife Pat, to attend Bible college and enter the ministry. For six years they served in many capacities in Liberty Church in Pensacola, Florida. They pastored a small church in North Carolina. Then they moved back to Florida where they were ordained with Christian International Ministries Network under Bishop Bill Hamon. From 1992, they have served as counselors, trainers and seminar leaders in the Healing House Network founded by Chester and Betsy Kylstra using the Restoring the Foundations ministry program. They have conducted hundreds of personal ministry sessions and numerous seminars and workshops, have trained counselors and helped local churches or ministry organizations establish their own prophetic prayer ministry programs. Over the years Tommy and Pat have also made four short-term missions trips—to Guatemala and Iceland. Parents of two daughters and grandparents of two grandsons, they now make their home in Statesville, North Carolina.
