Sherri House has a dedicated heart for mentoring and encouraging others. She loves to share the faithfulness of God as it is displayed in both the beautiful and the difficult events in our lives and to use those insights to encourage others in their walk with Christ.  She has earned certificates in Afternoon Tea Etiquette and History from the UK Tea Academy and The English Manner, as well as the British Butler Institute. She was a winner in the devotional category in the 2019 Christian Writer’s Conference.

Sherri takes great delight in the art of Afternoon Tea, and loves using teatime as an opportunity to minister to others. Now, she has joined her heart for mentoring, her gift for devotional writing, and her passion for Afternoon Tea to create a unique ministry: Tea with Jesus and Me.  She has hosted tea events both large and small to minister to ladies’ groups, teens, and others. She is known for taking her lovely traveling teas to the homebound to encourage and remind them of God’s love for them. 

Sherri has been married for 50 years to her high school sweetheart who shares her love for the Lord. Together they have raised three children and have six adult grandchildren. Seeing her growing family loving and serving the Lord is what she considers one of the greatest blessings in her life and what motivates her to share these stories to plant the seeds of faith in God in the next generation. She desires to motivate her readers to enjoy the blessings of doing the same. Psalm 145:4 is her motivating scripture for sharing the true stories written in this book: “One generation shall praise your works to the next and shall declare your mighty acts.”
