Patrice Maguire, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, is a wife and the mother of three boys. The Maguires currently live in Zachary, Louisiana, where they have two pets−Miela and Autumn. The Many Fears of Miela the Cat was Patrice’s first book. That has been followed by another great children's title: The Wonderful Life of Mr. Bear.
